Before applying for any trainings or workshops please READ all the following terms and conditions:

HEALTH AND FITNESS:

If you have an injury or medical condition you may still be able to attend the training if you are able to practice using modifications if necessary. All trainees are required to inform us prior to booking of any chronic or acute injuries. All instructions and guidance during classes are an invitation to challenge you mentally and physically and therefore Feeling Soul Good events are only suitable for healthy and mentally stable persons.

Trainees are expected to take responsibility for themselves and approach each yoga practice with sensitivity and awareness for how they are feeling mentally and physically at all times. We encourage students to be sensitive to their limitations and always stop if they experience any pain or sickness

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

We recommend that all people travelling abroad have comprehensive travel, cancellation medical insurance for the duration of the training. You can review and compare travel insurance options at travelinsuranceview.net

LIABILITY:

We do not accept responsibility or liability for cancellations, delays, changes or losses caused by acts of God, war, and threat of war, closure of airports, civil strife, natural disasters, accidents or any other events beyond our control. The same applies to guests’ injuries, illnesses, medical or psychiatric conditions developed during or subsequent to the holiday, as well as loss of /or damage to personal property of guests.

UNPLANNED CHANGES:

While it is unlikely that we will have to make changes to bookings, scheduled teachers, the venue or other matters, we reserve the right to do so at any time. We will inform you as early as possible in the event that this is necessary.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

All our trainings offer accommodation on site. We do our best to select a simple, yet comfortable room for our students. Sometimes events happen that are out of our control. We ask for you to hold an open mind and to understand that we are not in a western country.

DISCOUNTS:

At our discretion we reserve the right to give concessions and discounts. This does not automatically entitle other participants to the same concessions or discounts. Only one discount is applicable per person. No combining of discounts allowed. Discounts are to be utilised with payment. We do not ‘refund’ a discount.

PUNCTUALITY:

In respect for the group and the teachers we request that trainees arrive in ample time before the beginning of every class. Any late arrivals may find that they are not admitted into the class.

ATTENDENCE:

The Feeling Soul Good training is recognized as a 500-hour course. 95% attendance is required in order to receive a certificate. Since the trainings are scheduled in intensive segments there is very little room for non-attendance.
In the case of continuous non-attendance additional hours of study on a future training will be required and a certificate of either 100, 150 or 175 hours will be issued to reflect the hours completed. Additional hours of study are subject to a teaching fee. If a student has a slight illness we encourage them to attend the class and observe, as it is our experience that by being present and listening many of the teachings can be still be digested. If illness is severe we request to be informed so that if necessary we can call a doctor on your behalf.

CERTIFICATION:

Certificates are presented to trainees on the basis of performance and attendance throughout the training. All students are required to achieve 75% pass rates in exams and assessments. If a student fails in any part of the training re-takes will be offered.
It is our experience that all students who apply themselves to the best of their ability pass. However in the unlikely event that a student has not grasped the fundamentals of teaching or cannot teach in a safe and effective way we reserves the right to maintain its teaching standards. In cases where the standard has not been met ‘further training recommended’ will be added to the certificate

SILENCE:

In all training there is silence from the beginning of the day until and including breakfast. We have found that the practice of silence allows students to assimilate and digest the morning practice.

ALCOHOL AND DRUGS:

Feeling Soul Good teacher trainings adhere to a strict 100% alcohol, cigarette and drug free policy.

Alcohol and drugs are not conducive to a personal practice and are unwelcome. This is a 500 hr YTT opening into our deeper selves beyond a training. It is also a contribution to your personal sadhana (spiritual) practice and you are invited to refrain from using or taking any smoke, alcohol or drugs during the training so that you can receive the most from this training and raise your vibration.

HOMEWORK:

Homework is given for you to clarify your understanding of any new information or teachings that you receive during class. We request that all students keep up to date with their homework and inform us if they have difficulties or issues with the homework they are given.

RELATING TO OTHERS:

If you have any personal problems or difficulties with anybody on the training (teacher or student) please talk to one of the teachers so they can mediate and support a flowing relationship to be established. We all grow by learning from being in relationship with others.

DISCLAIMER:

The training is not suitable for pregnant women or for anyone on medication for serious physical or mental conditions unless covered by a doctor’s note. Neither is it suitable anyone who is emotionally unstable. On arrival to the training one of the things we request is that all students sign a disclaimer stating that they are fit and healthy both mentally and physically and they are prepared for intensive practices that may lead to emotional and physical releases. Ultimately we ask that each person take responsibility for himself or herself. This means resting when needing to or ‘backing off’ when one feels about to move beyond any personal limitation (physical or mental).
If a trainee experiences any kind of crisis we are there to help and be supportive, however it must be recognized that we are not doctors or trained councilors. We have connections with local professionals, doctors, therapists and spiritual councilors (Indian and Western) so if you need to see a professional it can be arranged.

BEHAVIOUR:

If any student is continually disruptive or fails to comply with the above terms and conditions we reserve the right to dismiss that person from the training and ask them to leave the venue. We ask that the yamas and niyamas be followed through out the course. If you have forgotten them we will be reviewing them again.
